The reality is that all of mankind is connected to God, whether some people realize it or not. This book discusses social issues that affect all human beings whether in the home, school or workplace. The concept of teamwork is hard to implement when several people are involved. Egos and personalities tend to clash, thus inhibiting the opportunity for growth on a multitude of levels. Case in point, there was a company in New Zealand run by the 7th generation of owners from the same family. However, one day the patriarch of the family died. The remaining heirs quarreled over ownership and how the company should be run. In the end, no one was willing to compromise and the company was disintegrated into sixty individual factories. It also demonstrates that cohabitation and communication are difficult to implement. On the footsteps of the beloved, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a human being chosen by Allah Almighty to deliver the message of Islam to all of mankind. Each footstep he took, and each action he performed, were recorded in the hearts and minds of the Muslims who witnessed his Sunnah, or way of life. On the footsteps of the beloved: As a reformer, Muhammad (peace be upon him) was unwavering in his message of Islam even when his own community turned on him. When the new Muslims were being tortured for embracing the Islamic faith, it was Muhammad (pbuh) who stood by their side to give them the glad tidings of Paradise when death was their only reality. On the footsteps of the beloved: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was more than a historical figure. He was our teacher and his example has shone brightly for thousands of years, thus lighting up the hearts of innumerable Muslims. He drew a path of righteousness that leads directly to Paradise. All Muslims have to do is follow it. O nation of the beloved: Let us rediscover our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him). Let us look together for his footsteps and ignite the light of Islam in our hearts. All we need to begin is an understanding of the Sunnah of Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the willingness to apply it to our daily lives. إنها كلمات أعظم من برنامج وأكبر من كتاب، إنها "حياة" إنسان اختاره الله تعالى ليمثل منهاجه جل وعلا في الأرض...على خطى الحبيب صلى الله عليه وسلم...خطى نقشها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في النفوس والعقول والقلوب، على مدى الأجيال يتوارثونها باعتزاز وفخر، فلا الأيام تبدلها، ولا الخطوب تطمسها..على خطى الحبيب: في علاقته صلى الله عليه وسلم مع الله تعالى، فهو الذاكر في كل أحيانه، وهو القائم الصائم، المتبتل الخاشع، المتوكل الواثق بربه، أما الصلاة فهي لقاؤه الأحب...على خطى الحبيب: في علاقته مع الناس، فهو الصادق الأمين، الرؤوف الرحيم، والزوج المحب، والأب الحنون، والاجتماعي الفذ... على خطى الحبيب: في شخصيته الرائدة، فهو بعيد النظر، حسن التدبير، ذو مقدرة فائقة على حل المشكلات ومغالبة الصعاب، لا يعرف اليأس إليه طريقاً.على خطى الحبيب: في منهجه الإصلاحي ونصرته للإسلام، فها هو مع القلة المضطهدة مصابر، وها هو في مواقف النصر شاكر، متفان في تبليغ دعوة ربه، يقرأ المرحلة بدقة، ذو مقدرة فائقة في التكيف الإيجابي مع الحدث..على خطى الحبيب... كلمات غمرت قلبي نوراً، فما أمتعها من أوقات تلك التي قضيتها معه صلى الله عليه وسلم أبحث عن خطاه، فوجدتها -ولعجب ما وجدت- تملأ الحياة من حوالي، فعظمة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لم تكن تجربة تاريخية تستوطن بطون الكتب، بل منهجاً متألقاً يبث الحياة في النفوس لتنطلق من إسارها لتبدع الخير مترسمة الدرب الذي خطاه صلى الله عليه وسلم.يا أمة الحبيب: تعالوا نكتشف من جديد حبيبنا صلى الله عليه وسلم، تعالوا نبحث سوية عن خطاه.. فها هي إشراقات الفجر قد لمعت، وها هي الأمة بدأت بالانطلاق...هذه الانطلاقة المباركة على خطى الحبيب تتطلب أول ما تتطلب: معرفة عميقة بخطاه صلى الله عليه وسلم، ثم معايرة النفس والمجتمع على هدي هذه الخطى، ثم جد السير اقتفاء لهذه الخطى في واقع الحياة... ولعل في "على خطى الحبيب" خطوة في هذا الطريق...
