Iris of Islam Book 2 is for kindergarten students. It teaches them some short surahs (al-Asr, al-Feel, and al-Masad), some acts of worship (prayers, ablution, fasting, zakah, and hajj), some of Allah’s exalted and majestic attributes (the All-Knowing, the All-Hearing), and some manners (helping others, respecting the elderly, cleanliness). Iris 2 targets children at age of 5 years old teaching them short Surahs such as Surah Al ‘Asr, Al Fil, Al Masad, etc.. It also teaches them some good deeds (‘ibada) such as praying, ablution, fasting, zakat and hajj) along with some names of Allah (The All-Knowing, The All-Hearing) and some good manners (such as helping others, respecting elders, cleanliness, dining manners…). Children are also taught some dua’as and stories of prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
