The author of this dictionary collected the Arabic material from The Arab Tongue by Ibn Manthour and the Inclusive Dictionary by Fairwz Abady; the Spanish material was gathered from Federico Corriente Dictionary using the same symbols, abbreviations and signs as in that resource. This Arabic-Spanish & Spanish-Arabic dictionary contains about 50, 000 common words. يعد هذا القاموس مدخلاً إلى صرح كبير، هو ذلك التراث الضخم، تراث العرب وتراث الإسبان، وهذا المدخل الصغير بحجمه والكبير بمحتوياته يضم معظم الكلمات الشائعة الاستعمال في اللغة العربية وترجمتها إلى اللغة الإسبانية إذ يحتوي على توليفة هامة من المصطلحات العلمية والفنية والأدبية إلى جانب العديد من المفردات المستعملة في حياتنا اليومية نظراً لشيوع استعمالها من قبل المتكلمين باللغة الإسبانية، وقد جمع المؤلف في هذا المعجم مواده العربية من " لسان العرب " لابن منظور والقاموس المحيط للفيروزآبادي على وجه الاختصار، ومواده الاسبانية من معجم فدريكو كورينتي وعليه اعتمد في الرموز والمختصرات والعلامات . وقد سار في معجمه على الايجاز والاختصار وان كان يورد المعنيين والثلاثة للفظة الواحدة عند الحاجة. ويعدّ هذا القاموس وسطاً هاماً ومدخلاً جيداً يستفيد منه الطالب والمترجم كما يستفيد منه الباحث والضليع باللغة الإسبانية.

It contains more than 300 illustrations plus 16 colored pages. It has a phonetic transcription which helps student with proper pronunciation. Selection of the most frequent and common words that the student need. This dictionary was revised several times to avoid print errors. يتميز هذا المعجم بما يلي: يشتمل على أكثر من 25,000 كلمة مع مترادفاتها، مرتبة ترتيباً أبجدياَ حسب نطقها باللغة العربية. يشتمل على أكثر من 300 رسم توضيحي ولوحة. نذكر في أحيان كثيرة اللفظ الإنكليزي مفسراً بلفظة إنجليزية أخرى، ثم المرادف العربي. وهكذا يمكن اعتبار هذا القاموس وكأنه قاموس إنكليزي-  إنكليزي - عربي. تجنبنا الألفاظ الميتة والنادرة الاستعمال، وتوسعنا في الألفاظ الشائعة الكثيرة الاستعمال. تجنبنا ذكر الألفاظ الكثيرة ذات المعنى الواحد في اللغة العربية، واقتصرنا على ذكر الألفاظ الأكثر شيوعاً واستعمالاً. تم مراجعة القاموس عدة مرات قبل طبعه تجنباً للأخطاء الطباعية.
