Minhaj Al-Muslim (The Muslim's Path, 2 Books)
The author of Minhaj Al-Muslim (The Way of a Muslim) was the great scholar Abu Bakr Jabir Al-Jaza'ri. He held the prestige of being a regular lecturer at the Prophet's Mosque in Al-Madinah. His way of teaching was very simple and his lectures find a place in the minds and hearts of people. The great author had a very humble and pious personality. If Allah wants someone to have the honor of serving His religion, then He Himself provides him with the necessary requirements. And this was the case for Abu Bakr Jabir Al-Jaza’ri. He was born in 'Liwah', Al-Jaza'ir (Algeria) in 1921 CE. Jabir was less than one year old when his father died; his pious mother nurtured the eminent child on the basis of Islamic guidelines. He learned the whole Qur'an in his youth before he was even twelve years old. He finished his early education in his hometown, then moved to the capital of Algeria where he worked as a teacher. During that period he attended the lecturers of 'Allamah At-Tayyab Abu Qir and was enlightened with the light of belief in Tawhid and the Sunnah of the Prophet (s). When the French colonization began in 1372 AH or 1952 CE, he migrated to Al-Madinah, the city of Prophet (s). King Sa'ud bin 'Abdul-'Aziz was the ruler at that time and Al-Madinah University was being established. Jabir first worked as a teacher in Al-Madinah and then joined Al-Madinah University until his retirement. He also worked as an adviser to some institutes affiliated with the Muslim World League. Allah gave him great abilities in reading and writing, so he wrote about 80 books. Some of these books include the following works: 'Ageedah Mu'min (The Believer's Creed), his Tafsir of the Qur'an entitled Aysar AtTafasir, and a section on the biography of the Prophet (s) entitled Hadha Al-Habib (This is the Beloved). The author wrote this book, Minhaj Al-Muslim, at the request of the people of Wahdah', a city in Morocco. They were looking for a book that included all of the necessary topics that a Muslim would need to succeed, such as correct belief, etiquette, manners, worship, business, transactions, etc. As a result, Jabir compiled this book after a two-year struggle, may Allah reward him and increase his benefit to the True Religion. Finally, this book has been prepared in two volumes in the English language due to a large amount of material covered.

Method and Madness: The Hidden Story of Israel's Assaults on Gaza
In the past five years Israel has mounted three major assaults on the 1.8 million Palestinians trapped behind its blockade of the Gaza Strip. Taken together, Operation Cast Lead (2008-9), Operation Pillar of Defense (2012), and Operation Protective Edge (2014), have resulted in the deaths of some 3,700 Palestinians. Meanwhile, a total of 90 Israelis were killed in the invasions. On the face of it, this succession of vastly disproportionate attacks has often seemed frenzied and pathological. Senior Israeli politicians have not discouraged such perceptions, indeed they have actively encouraged them. After the 2008-9 assault Israel's then-foreign minister, Tzipi Livni, boasted, "Israel demonstrated real hooliganism during the course of the recent operation, which I demanded." However, as Norman G. Finkelstein sets out in this concise, paradigm-shifting new book, a closer examination of Israel's motives reveals a state whose repeated recourse to savage war is far from irrational. Rather, Israel's attacks have been designed to sabotage the possibility of a compromise peace with the Palestinians, even on terms that are favorable to it. Looking also at machinations around the 2009 UN sponsored Goldstone report and Turkey's forlorn attempt to seek redress in the UN for the killing of its citizens in the 2010 attack on the Gaza freedom flotilla, Finkelstein documents how Israel has repeatedly eluded accountability for what are now widely recognized as war crimes. Further, he shows that, though neither side can claim clear victory in these conflicts, the ensuing stalemate remains much more tolerable for Israelis than for the beleaguered citizens of Gaza. A strategy of mass non-violent protest might, he contends, hold more promise for a Palestinian victory than military resistance, however brave.
