The importance of this dictionary lies in the density of its information and its overall approach and methodology. The dictionary contains all the Arabic words and phrases important for everyday use. It is mainly concerned with modern words in many sciences and fields, and does not contain archaic words or those that are no longer in use. The dictionary gives the meaning of each word clearly and comprehensively. It tries to give each Arabic word its equivalent in Italian, along with more than three equivalents. The entries are alphabetically orders, so there is no need to look for the root of each word. This dictionary is based on Al-Mawrid Arabic-English, and was prepared by a group of specialists in both Arabic and Italian languages. It contains about 67,000 entries. أهمية هذا المعجم في كثافة مادته وفي المنهجية التي اعتمدها والتي كانت على الشكل التالي: تضمين مفردات اللغة العربية جميع الكلمات والمصطلحات والعبارات المعاصرة والحديثة والتي يتوفر فيها عنصر الشيوع والتداول، الاهتمام بالمفردات والمصطلحات الخاصة بشتى العلوم والمعارف، إسقاط الألفاظ التي باتت بحكم التطور مهجورة أو مماتة، إضافة المعاني الجديدة التي اكتسبتها كلمات معروفة سابقاً، وإلحاقها بالمعاني القديمة لتلك الكلمات، تفريع الكلمة الواحدة إلى فروع يختص كل منها بمعنىً مستقل من المعاني، الاهتمام بالعبارات الاصطلاحية التي توضح مغالق الكلام حيث يورد بعض الجمل والعبارات التي تبين طريقة استعمال المفردة واكتسابها مدلولاً خاصاً في سياق الجملة، إعطاء كل لفظة عربية حقها الوافي من مقابلاتها الإيطالية والمترادفات وعدم الاكتفاء بكلمة أو اثنتين من الكلمات الإيطالية كشرح مقابل للفظة العربية، اعتماد الترتيب الألفبائي النطقي بحيث لا يعود القارئ إلى جذر الكلمة.

This dictionary presents the Arabic words and phrases included in the I Love Arabic series alongside their Chinese equivalents. It also gives at least one example of each Arabic word used in a complete sentence. In addition to morphological information and verbs forms, it also includes a number of illustrations. The dictionary is supplemented with an appendix of posters for some subjects and another appendix of the Arabic alphabet, Arabic numbers, the lunar and solar months, the days of the week, and a glossary in Arabic and Chinese. يشتمل هذا الكتاب (القاموس) على الكلمات والتعبيرات العربية مع مقابلاتها باللغة الصيني الواردة في سلسلة أحب العربية, ويقدم لكل كلمة عربية مثال أو أكثر على استعماله في جملة تامة. بالإضافة إلى معلومات صرفية , وصيغ الأفعال, كما يشتمل علة عدد كبية من الصور التوضيحية . وذيل القاموس بملحق اللوحات المصورة لبعض الموضوعات ، وملحق آخر لحروف الهجاء العربية وأسماءها والأرقام وأسماء الشهور القمرية والشمسية وأيام الأسبوع , بالإضافة إلى مسرد باللغتين العربية والصينية .
