Kutubee Schools
It is an interactive reading platform designed to build a love of reading and improve language skills for elementary and middle school students. The platform features a diverse collection of over 1,000 Arabic stories, more than 400 English stories, and 170 French stories, all carefully selected by teachers and academic experts.
Suitable for learners aged 3 to 14, it serves as a valuable educational resource accessible on multiple devices at school and at home.
Kutubee was developed in collaboration with education and library specialists to ensure alignment with library classification systems. Its books are organized according to the PYP system, and the stories are also classified using the Arabi21 system, while taking individual learner differences into account.
We are pleased to introduce a new AI-powered tool that allows students to practice reading aloud and receive immediate feedback on their performance. This feature is designed to support Arabic as a Second Language learners by enhancing essential reading skills through real-time assessment.
Reading accuracy is improved through direct on-screen highlighting of correct and incorrect words, helping learners quickly recognize and correct errors. It also supports fluency and reading speed by giving feedback on pacing, enabling smoother and more confident oral reading.
How does the student benefit from this feature?
Students simply click the “Reading Practice” icon and follow the on-screen instructions. The assigned passage appears, and the student reads it aloud at their own pace. After finishing, they end the session, and the system instantly analyzes their performance and shows real-time results.
This provides immediate, actionable feedback that helps Arabic as a Second Language learners quickly identify strengths and areas for improvement, supporting faster progress in reading accuracy, fluency, and confidence.
