Why Tajweed Matters:   
Allah (SWT) commands us in the Qur’an to recite it with Tajweed:   
“…And recite the Qur’an with measured recitation.” (Surah Al-Muzzammil 73:4)    

Tajweed is the set of rules for proper Qur’anic recitation. It ensures that the Qur'an is recited in the way it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) said:    

“Whoever recites the Qur’an correctly and proficiently will be with the noble, obedient scribes (angels of Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz).”
