The Sunnah is the most authentic explanation and elaboration of the Word of Allah. Many worthy collections of Hadith of the Prophet have been compiled and translated into English. Yet very few, however, have been compiled especially for children and young people, and this collection is intended to fill this gap. This collection presents twenty sound Ahadith that will appeal to all ages, but are especially suitable for young people, taking into consideration their needs and interests. In translation and brief commentary that follows each Hadith, an effort has been made to use plain language and explanation for the ordinary mind. Moreover, useful exercises have also been added. In this way, this collection will be greatly beneficial for the young Muslims. This small book has been the collaborative effort of many. Al-Adab al-Mufrad with Full Commentary: A Perfect Code of Manners and Morality (Paperback)
Al-Adab al-Mufrad, an anthology of 1329 hadiths, is a treasured work in Muslim history by one of its most respected scholars, Imam Bukhari. In preparing this selection of hadiths Imam Bukhari set out a model to follow for successful relations within the Muslim community as well as interaction between Muslims and non-Muslims based on the Prophetic example and that of Muhammad's closest companions. All of the hadiths are directly related to the standards of manners and morality Islam wants to prevail, and Muslims throughout the world have been guided by it since its preparation over a millennia ago. Famed for the reliability and strength of his work, Imam Bukhari exclusively used hadith that do not go below the grade of "Good" (or "Hasan"), and since they are focused on manners and moral values, they are upheld by scholars. What distinguishes the present work is that it includes a contemporary commentary, clearly emphasizing the relevance of the Prophet's teachings in our modern and complex societies. This pioneering addition marks it out as perhaps the first English work commenting on and explaining a full anthology of hadiths. The translator and author of the commentaries, Adil Salahi, has a long history of research in the seerah and hadith, and he wrote extensively on both. This work puts together the best of his writings on the Prophet's teachings in the area of morality and private and social manners.

An-Nawawi's Forty Hadith
There are two main sources of Islamic knowledge: the Holy Quran and the collection of the recorded words, actions, and sanctions of the Prophet Muhammad which make up the sunnah. These are commonly referred to as hadith. While the Quran remains the foremost source of Islamic knowledge, the sunnah complements the teachings of the Quran and should be followed as the Quran indicates in the following verse: “And whatsoever the Messenger gives you, take it. And whatsoever he forbids, abstain (from it).” Thus, without a study of hadith, Muslims cannot complete their knowledge of their faith, and non-Muslims are unable to form a true picture of Islam and its fundamental spiritual, moral, legislative, and cultural principles. This book contains only authentic, well-documented hadiths, which are presented in Arabic and translated into modern English.

Imam Abu Ismail `Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Ansari in Harrah said about this book: "To me, his book is better than the book of Al-Bukhari and that of Muslim. Because only one who is an expert in knowledge can arrive at the benefit of the books of Al-Bukhari and Muslim, whereas in the case of the book of Abu `Eisa, every one of the people can reach its benefit." In Jami`Al-Usul, Ibn Al-Athir said: "(It) is the best of the books, having the most benefit, the best organization, with the least repetition. It contains what others do not contain; like mention of the different school of thoughts, angles of argument, and clarifying the circumstances of the hadeeth being authentic, weak, gharib (odd), as well as disparaging and endorsing remarks (regarding narrators)."This translation by Dar-us-Salam Publications has several additional advantages including: A final verdict about the authenticity of every hadeeth (in parentheses at end of every hadeeth) by the committee of scholars at Dar-us-Salam Comments in English after many hadeeth to explain unclear points and to further explain the hadeeth Translation from old manuscripts of hadeeth to get the most authentic version Revision by three different levels of scholars to get as close to the original meaning Arabic and English side by side for easy access As always on all Dar-us-Salam books, the paper quality, binding, design and the print are unmatched.

English Translation of Sahih Muslim (7 Books)
Sahih Muslim is the most authentic book of hadeeth after Sahih Al-Bukhari and contains 7,563 hadeeth. The Muslim scholars have agreed that all of the hadeeth in Sahih Muslim are authentic. Thus, Darussalam realized the great benefit of publishing the full version of Sahih Muslim in the English language in the best presentation. Much care has been taken in rendering these hadeeth into a clear and simple style of modern English. This fine-quality edition of Sahih Muslim has been verified by Dar-us-Salam Publications extensively. Its translation has been checked several times as not only to avoid mistranslating but also to avoid misinterpreting the hadeeth as done by many translators of the current times in order to rush the product to market or to their lack of understanding of the Arabic language. Unlike other publishers which leave you wondering about the meaning of the hadeeth, the unclear wording has been explained in the brackets. There are also footnotes on the bottom of some of the pages, when the term cannot be explained in the brackets. This edition of Dar-us-Salam is nice in that it starts off by drawing a life sketch of Imam Muslim. Then, it goes on to the introduction of Sahih Muslim by Imam Muslim himself where he explains the difference between different narrators and level of trustworthiness. This edition is also different from other publishers in that the text is side by side with Arabic so you have access to both English and Arabic at the same time. Furthermore, the book regarding reporting from the trustworthy narrators have been placed first while other books follow it. Moreover, the Arabic text contains full chain of narrators while the English only mentions the companion. Lastly, in keeping with the tradition of high quality printing, this edition of Sahih Muslim by Dar-us-Salam Publications is second to none other & made to last a long time.

Forty Hadiths
In this book, the adeeth is used to facilitate the learning of the Arabic language. To achieve this, forty hadeeth narrations, of varying lengths, were included in order to help students develop a better understanding of the language. Two stories, considered the most beautiful in Islamic history, were also added: the Muslim migration to Abyssinia, the Al-Najashi story, and Salman Al-Farisi’s long search for truth. Because the modern ways of teaching languages depend on texts for syntax explanation, each syntax issue mentioned includes a full explanation after each hadeeth. The most important vocabulary words are also provided. The vocabulary explanations are enhanced by various exercises. Some are designed for comprehension and others for testing the student in the areas of language and syntax.

Pearls and Corals (Arabic and English, Two Volumes Set)
Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim are named first in the authentic books of Ahadith. Sahih Bukhari holds the honour to be the most authentic book after the Noble Qur'an of Allah. Sahih Muslim has been graded after it. Those Ahadith which are common in both the collections are termed as 'Agreed upon and possess the highest degree of authenticity. About fifty or sixty years back, the eminent religious scholar of Egypt, Muhammad Fu'wad Abdul-Baqi made a collection of these Ahadith and named it as AI-Lulu' wal-Marjeln, fima ittafaqa alaihish-Sheiklan (Pearls & Corals, on which the two Sheikhs are agreed upon). In fact, these Ahadith are much more than the diamonds and pearls for us from the Prophet. The scholars of Hadith have compiled the books of Ahadith after a thorough search, vast investigations, careful examinations, systematic studies and close analysis regarding their authenticity. For this purpose they evolved special sciences with strict measures to scrutinize Ahadith and its narrators. They collected and discussed the life histories and life styles of the narrators and then expressed definite opinions about them. Undoubtedly, these great efforts of the scholars of Ahadith were laborious and painstaking as they sometimes travelled on their feet for hundreds of miles in those days of hard travel, to get a single Hadith to be collected in their books. The scholars of Hadith devoted their lives for this sacred purpose, and today it is because of their restless efforts that every act and every word of the Prophet is preserved.

And verily, Allah is with the muhsinun (good doers)." (29:69)"And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e., death)." (15:99)"And remember the Name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him with a complete devotion." (73:8)"So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it." (99:7) "And whatever good you send before you for yourselves, (i.e., Nawafil - non-obligatory acts of worship: prayers, charity, fasting, Hajj and Umrah etc.), you will certainly find it with Allah, better and greater in reward" (73:20)"And whatever you spend in good, Allah knows it well." (2:273)Hadith 95: Narrated Abu Hurairah (r) Messenger (s) said, "Allah the Exalted has said: 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshiper of Mine. And the most beloved thing with which My slave comes nearer to Me is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing nawafil (prayer or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him. When I love him I become his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks (something) from Me, I give him, and if he asks My Protection (refuge), I protect him."' [Al-Bukhari]Commentary: Those who make innovations in religion and associate partners with Allah (such as haluli -who believe in the indwelling light in the soul of man, wajudi - who believe in the physical form of Allah, and pagans who worship other than Allah) interpret this hadeeth in support of their base contention and thus seek support of one wrong from another although the meaning and interpretation of the hadeeth is not at all what the describe. In simple and unambiguous terms, the hadeeth means that when a person adds voluntary prayers to the obligatory ones, he becomes a favorite slave of Allah and on account of it, he receives special help from Allah. Then he is protected by Allah to the extent that He supervises every organ of his body. Thus. he is saved from disobedience of Allah. He bears what is Hiked by Allah, sees what is liked by Him, handles what pleases Him. When he attains that lofty position of love and obedience of Allah then Allah in return also grants prayers of His obedient and loyal slaves. A saint is not one who has a peculiar get up and appearance, or who occupies the seat of a saint as his successor, or a person who is lost in meditation, or a half-mad, or one who has invented his own style of remembrance and worship of Allah, but it is one who strictly fulfills the obligations imposed by Islam, is fond of voluntary prayers and adheres to Divine injunctions in every walk of life. The love of such saints is a means to attain the Pleasure of Allah, and enmity (hatred and repulsion) with them is a cause of His serious displeasure and wrath. Voluntary prayer is certainly a means of attaining the Pleasure of Allah, but it must be preceded by the fulfillment of obligatory prayers. The former is of no value if the latter is neglected. The desire to attain nearness of Allah without strict observance of the obligatory prayers is fallacious and meaningless Hadith 96: Narrated Anas (r): The Prophet (s) said, "Allah says: 'When a slave of Mine draws near to Me a span, I draw near to him a cubit; and if he draws near to Me a cubit, I draw near to him a fathom. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.'" [Al-Bukhari]Commentary: This hadeeth mentions infinite benevolence, generosity, kindness and regard of Allah for His slaves, which is evident from the reward that He gives to His slaves even on their minor good deeds.

Sahih Al-Bukhari (Large, Color may vary) صحيح البخاري
Sahih Bukhari is the most accurate book of hadith for Muslims (Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah). It was collected by Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ismaeel al-Bukhari, and he named it: “al-Jamia’ al-Musnad al-Sahih al-Mukhtasar min ‘Umur Rasool Allah wa Sunanuh wa Ayyamuh.” It is the first book of authentic hadiths attributed to the Prophet Muhammad. It is divided into chapters based on topics of jurisprudence. It contains 7,257 hadiths with repetitions included, and 4,000 unique hadiths. The scholar al-Nawawi reports a consensus that the Sahih of Bukhari is authentic and that Muslims must use its hadiths, when he said: “The ummah has agreed on the authenticity of these two books and the obligation of taking their hadiths.” The two books he mentions are Sahih Muslim and Sahih Bukhari. Bukhari collected and checked the authenticity of the hadiths in his collection according to the science that he himself established. He is from Bukhara, in Central Asia. He began writing his Sahih when he was 16 years old, and he completed it at the age of 38 in 232 AH. Al-Bukhari was born in 194 AH and died in 256 AH. His book is considered the first book of hadith and holds a special place among Muslims, which is why it and Sahih Muslim are called al-Sahihayn — the two Sahihs. Ibn Hajar said in the introduction to his book explaining Sahih Bukhari: “The number of unrepeated hadiths is 2,602.”

The Hadith for Beginners
"This little book has been composed in order to present to the English-reading public, Muslim as well as non-Muslim, the viewpoint of orthodox Islam with regard to Haddith literature, its origin and development, and its criticism by the Muslim doctors. For in English, only one book on the subject has been published (The Traditions of Islam by Alfred Guillaume, Oxford, 1924). It presents a complete history through the origin and development, its collection by the companions and history after the death of the companions as well as haddith literature, its special features and the sciences of the tradition. But it does not represent the Muslim point of view. In other European languages (like German, French and Dutch) several highly learned and critical works on Haddith have been published. But none of them represents orthodox Islamic views. "This book was begun in 1930 and was almost completed in 1936. In composing it, not only many of the important works of the modern European orient lists have been utilized but also a large part of the original Arabic sources, some of which (so far as I know) have not hither to been fully utilized. The reader, therefore, may find in this work some important material which may not be available in any of the European works on the subject."

The Prophetic Hadeeth Literature أدب الحديث النبوي
This book endeavors to ensure that the Hadith scholars pay attention to codifying the Prophetic Hadith, establishing the various remarkable sciences related to, for example, the study of the chain of narrators (sanad), actual wording of the hadith (matn), history of the Hadith narrators and each of their criticisms (jarḥ) or praise (ta'dil), obvious and indiscernible mistakes of the Hadith, unusual hadiths conveyed only by one narrator, various ones, and the science of abrogation (al-Nasikh wal-Mansukh), and others. But, up until now, Hadith scholars did not pay close attention to the tremendous literary side of their works. Scholars and teachers continue studying Hadith from the aspects of Jurisprudence, legislative and terminology alone. The scholars used to take examples from Aktham Ibn Saifi Al-Jaheli and the speeches of Ali Bin Abi Taleb while the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, was the ideal for writers in his times and even today. In terms of beauty, eloquence and rhetoric, his words, peace and blessings be upon him, come in only second after the Holy Quran. This book exposes the linguistic and artistic expression of the Hadith. It starts with quotes from former scholars who recorded terms of the Prophetic Hadith, and then mentions what they wrote while documenting Hadiths in the common Hadith books. Also, this book briefly demonstrates the subjects of the developed Hadith science and how Hadith narrators listened to these Hadith and learned them by heart. Finally, the book clarifies three main Hadith classifications: authentic, good and weak. The heart of the book talks about the noble Prophet’s personality, source of his eloquence, his opinion regarding poetry, and compares between metaphor and styles used in the Hadiths and in the Holy Qur'an. Finally, the author finishes the book with subjects that deal with daily life using metaphoric phrases about the expressive art of linguistics and rhetoric.
