This is to avoid students guessing the pronunciation of an example based on the last one, when they are supposed to work out each example separately. We have also tried to make sure that not a single example contains any elements that they have not yet covered. For example, no examples will have fathas until fatha has been formerly introduced. Likewise, examples containing ikhfa have been left out until the student has learned about ikhfa, and so on. This not only makes their recitation more rewarding in the hereafter, but we also believe they have a positive impact on the student’s learning and progress; Allah (swt) said, \"We have made the Quran easy to remember\" (54:40). In most other qaʿidahs, we found that many words had crept in which were not found in the Quran. This is by no means incorrect, but the words of the Quran will always hold superiority. Some qaʿidahs have tried to use examples only from the Quran but have either not found enough examples for the students to master the level, or they have had to make slight alterations to the writing to make it fit the level. For example, sometimes people have written a standing kasrah instead of a ya, or taken a word written together in the Quran and omitted part of it. We were not content with all of the above mentioned, so we carried out a comprehensive survey of the Quran, to the best of our abilities, combining direct human efforts and modern technological aids, to find ample examples from the Quran for each level. Occasionally, we have removed the waw of from the beginning of some individual words, but have not made any other changes to the text. \r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\r\nComplete Syllabus \r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\r\nReciting the Quran correctly involves many elements that are beyond the remit of a qaʿidah: students require much practice to build their fluency, as well as time to learn and implement the complex rules of tajweed. At Safar, we have kept the qaʿidah as an independent publication at the same time as integrating it into to a comprehensive syllabus that takes a student from his introduction to the sounds of Arabic letters, all the way through to expert recitation. By doing this, teachers, parents, and students are able to keep a holistic view of progress and ensure no aspect is neglected. \r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\r\nComplete and Logical sequence \r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\r\nThe ability to recite the Quran is dependent on several individual skills: for example, the ability to recognize joined letters, the ability to regulate the length of each vowel, and so on. In our analysis of other available qaʿidahs, we noticed that most of them contain gaps where certain key elements have not been covered formally and students are expected to guess or understand themselves. Sometimes, the logical sequence of this learning has also been ignored with some elements being presented in inappropriate places. Sometimes, examples contain concepts and elements which have not yet introduced to the students causing confusion and obstacles for the students. \r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\r\nTo solve this, each level in the \u003ci\u003eSafar Qaʿidah\u003c\/i\u003e is a gradual and logical progression from the previous one. An effort has been made to fill any gaps in that exist in other qaʿidahs, as well as trying to not allow any elements not yet formally covered into the examples. We guarantee your satisfaction with any goods that you purchase from us. If you receive your goods in such a state that they did not meet your satisfaction for any reason, please keep the item(s) in the original package and contact us at returns@ewsouk.com within 10 days of receiving your goods to arrange for an exchange or refund.

In any case that you may require an exchange or refund please take note of the following:
In the case of damaged, defective or wrong item(s) shipped due to our fault we will replace your product without any extra fees for shipping and handling, East West Souk will send you a return shipping label to ship your product back to us.
In the case that you were not satisfied with the product for any reason other than the above reasons we will issue a full refund for the cost of the item only (shipping and handling fees will not get refunded).
In the case of exchange an item(s) with another item(s) of your choice. The customer agrees to pay any price difference if the new merchandise has higher price than the item(s) exchanged plus the shipping and handling of the exchanged item(s).
Alternatively, we can also issue a store credit for the refunded item(s) that the customer can use for future purchases at East West Souk.
Food products, health & personal care products, DVDs, CDs, electronics, VHS tapes, audiotapes, or games and puzzles must be unopened and in their original sealable plastic wrapped boxes.
Clothes must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original state (all original tags attached).
Books, flash cards, posters and other products must be unmarked, unwritten on, unbent, and in new condition.

General rules:

Damaged products (not due to our fault) may receive partial or no credit.
As long as the product was not damaged or defective, the following items will not be accepted for returns once the original packaging is opened: Food products, health & personal care products, software, electronics, CDs, DVDs, audiotapes, VHS tapes, and bundles with books and CDs or books and DVDs.
Any returned item needs new packaging or missing parts will be subject to restocking fees that may reach 50% of its original value.
Any item(s) that do not satisfy the conditions above will not be accepted for refund or exchange.
Any request for refund or exchange received after 30 days from the customer’s receipt of the merchandise will not be accepted.
Any item(s) that was not directly purchased from East West Souk will not be accepted for refund or exchange and will be discarded.
Exchanged item(s) will only get shipped after we receive the returned one(s) and found acceptable according to the above conditions.
Packages marked a return to sender will not be considered or accepted for exchange or refund.
Returns from Canada or overseas: Please contact East West Souk at returns@ewsouk.com for full instructions; before taking any action or shipping the item(s) back to us.
East West Souk will not be liable for refund of missing parcels from the USA if we are not informed of them within 10 days of delivery. Different terms apply to the rest of the world.
Refunds will be made within 30 days of receiving the returned goods and will be made by the same method used in the original purchase.
We strongly recommend that returned goods are sent by special delivery with the appropriate insurance cover as they will only be deemed returned when signed for by us.
