/pages/quran-and-tajweed/pages/quranic-arabic-curriculumsEach of the three levels is divided into two semesters. Most of the concentration is placed on the Holy Qur’an, and the sciences and manners of tilaawa (ritual recitation of the Qur’an), tajweed (recitation of Qur’an), tafseer (commentary and explanation of Qur’an), and hifth (memorizing ayaat).
Other lessons in Islamic topics take into consideration the current social environment to harmonize Islamic values with society’s goals, enlisting physical, cognitive, emotional and motor development. Examples from the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (s) and from the Hadeeth An-Nabwi are included to provide a role model for character development.
