Owing to the importance of teaching the rules of tajweed to beginners and young students (8–15 years), the Association for the Preservation of the Holy Quran published the book Taqreeb al-Muneer for Beginners and Young Students, which was developed from al-Muneer in the Rules of Tajweed. This book was carefully designed to make it appropriate for younger students, especially in terms of ease, simplicity, and fun, to ensure understanding, benefit, and interaction. The book has exercises that will help develop individual learning skills in thinking and creativity. The book includes the following five units: Unit One: Introduction to Tajweed Students learn the benefits of recitation, can name the chain of narration, and know the meaning of the isti’adha linguistically and according to its usage in tajweed. Unit Two: The Points of Articulation of the Letters Students learn the organs of articulation and can define what a point of articulation (makhraj) is, linguistically and according to its usage in tajweed. Unit Three: Tafkheem and Tarqeeq (Heavy and Light Letters) Unit Four: The Rules of the Nun and the Meem Unit Five: Mudud (Extended Vowels) إيماناً بأهمية تعليم أحكام التجويد للمبتدئين وللمراحل العمرية الصغيرة من (8-15) سنة, حرصت جمعية المحافظة على القران الكريم على إصدار كتاب "تقريب المنير للمبتدئ والصغير" الذي انبثق من كتاب "المنير في احكام التجويد". وقد عملنا جاهدين ليكون أكثر تناسباً وملاءمةً لهم , بأسلوب يراعي البساطة والسهولة والتشويق, لنضمن الفهم والفائدة وحسن التفاعل , كما دعمنا الكتاب بتمارين تعين على تنمية المهارات الذاتية في التعلم والتفكير والابداع . يتكون الكتاب من خمس وحدات مقسمة على النحو الاتي : الوحدة الاولى : مقدمات علم التجويد وفيها يتعرف فضل التلاوة ويذكر سند الرواية وان يتعرف معنى الاستعاذة لغة واصطلاحا الوحدة الثانية : مخارج الحروف ان يتبين للطالب اعضاء النطق وان يتعرف مفهوم المخرج و الصفة لغة واصطلاحا الوحدة الثالثة : التفخيم والترقيم الوحدة الرابعة : احكام النون والميم الوحدة الخامسة : المدود

Books that take into account the level of the student and that can provide the recitation and tajweed in a systematic way, which correlates with the issues, are rare. That is why the Conservation of the Holy Qur'an Society Recitation Committee’s efforts to choose several professors to compose a collective book in recitation rules are so significant. The committee distributed content to its members to address. A subcommittee led by Dr. Ahmad Shukri and Dr. Ahmad Al-Qudah were given the responsibility of then coordinating and unifying the subjects, developing appropriate questions to include at the end of each topic, and laying it all out in a cohesive and easy to follow manner. This book of tajweed topics, provided to our readers, is the result of these extensive efforts. This well-organized book maintains the coherence between its subjects while taking into account the student’s level of knowledge. It also addresses any related field in a way that gives those who read the book a general knowledge about tajweed and its topics, providing the ability to teach it, if Allah wills.

As the need for a book like this among students living abroad has increased, the Society has taken this blessed step in contributing to the spread of the sciences of the Qur’an to a broader audience by shortening the Al-Munir book, limiting it to the major sections in its latest edition (No. 36). Tajweed is the science that explores the ways of pronouncing the letters from the correct points of articulation and with the appropriate characteristics. It also includes other rules, such as stopping, starting, joining, and finishing. The ruling of tajweed has two aspects: the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical side is to know, understand, and memorize the rules of tajweed. The ruling of this is fardh kifaya. The practical side is to implement the rules of tajweed during recitation. The ruling of this is wujub ayni for everyone reciting the Quran. The proof of this is the following ayah: “And recite the Quran with a measured recitation” (al-Muzzammil:4).
